Bob Sage, President & CEO

Bob Sage, our founder, was born and raised on Oahu, educated at the University of Hawaii, and has been in business on Oahu since 1986. He has 21 years of experience as a building service contractor and during that time he has obtained certifications from numerous national and international industry organizations such as the Building Service Contractors Association (BSCAI) and the Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association (ISSA).

“When I was in the 4th grade at Lanikai Elementary School in Kailua, I started my first business mowing lawns and washing cars in my neighborhood near the school. In addition to that, I held a newspaper route through the 7th grade. It was my experiences in these first years of managing my own business that I discovered the value of providing great customer service. I also learned that I could provide a much better quality service with a helper that was well paid and happy to be working with me. Sandy Tsuruda, Director of Administration

Sandy joined Federal Maintenance in September of 2012. She comes to us with over 22 years of administrative and operational experience, most of which was earned here in Hawaii. Her extensive experience in restructuring administrative and facility operations has brought a high level of efficiency to the company. In 2013, Sandy earned her degree in Paralegal Studies at the University of Hawaii’s KCC campus. In her spare time she enjoys stand up paddle boarding, golf and fitness activities.

Darlene Tsuha, Office Manager

Darlene Tsuha serves at Federal Maintenance as Office Manager. She has over twenty years of customer service and leadership experience. She is married and has three daughters. Darlene has a Bachelors of Science Degree in nursing from the University of Hawaii. Darlene is responsible for supporting the President and Vice President of Federal Maintenance, insuring smooth operations in the front office, working with our Operations Managers, and many, many other duties too numerous to name here. Darlene is the epitome of grace and kindness and as much as she is glad to be a part of an excellent team providing superior service to all of our customers, the team appreciates all of her contributions to keep things running smoothly.

Kuulei Cobb, Senior Operations Manager

Kuulei Cobb is our Senior Operations Manager and has been a valued member of our staff since 2009. Kuu as we call her was born and raised in Hawaii. She has the true spirit of aloha and enjoys serving her employees and customers according to our core values. Part of her job is to insure that the work her team performs is done with excellence but more importantly she values the life-long relationships that are built through the course of doing business. In her spare time, Kuu enjoys spending time with her family. Her teammates truly appreciate the aloha that she brings to the office every day!

Kuulei Cobb, Senior Operations Manager

Tami Dorton, Operations Manager

Tami Dorton recently transitioned from serving as our Project Manager at Schofield Barracks Commissary to an Operations Manager responsible for janitorial services in 150 buildings on Schofield Barracks. Tami graduated from Galen College of Nursing in Kentucky in 2009 with her LPN degree. She hails from New Albany, Indiana and is married with three children. Tami is a terrific member of our team with high energy, a great work ethic and loves working alongside her field staff. She enjoys camping, being outdoors and going to the beach in her free time.

Khalilah Watson, HR Coordinator

Khalilah Watson is our Human Resources Coordinator. She graduated from Wilmington University with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources. Khalilah has several years of experience in HR, customer service, and project management.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family at the beach and exploring Hawaii. Khalilah has a real heart for people and takes great care to understand and serve our employees in a manner consistent with our core values.

Nikki Sage, Payroll Coordinator

Nikki Sage is our Payroll Coordinator. She has served in multiple positions within the company over the past four years, including Human Resources, Billing, Payroll Administrator, Operations and a number of other rolls as needed during our periods of growth. She has a gift for working with our employees and enjoys new opportunities to learn and develop her skills. In her spare time she enjoys shopping and spending time with friends at the beach.
